Anika noni rose is an American actor and singer. She is most famous for her role as Tiana Disney's her first African American character In The Princess and the Frog. She was honored as an official Disney Legend. Rose is best known for her character Lorrell Robinson in Dreamgirls. Anika Noni rose (born on the 6th of September 1973) is an American performer and singer. Her most well-known role is in the role of Tiana the first Disney African American princess from The Princess and the Frog (2009). In 2011, she was recognized as an Disney Legend. She also has a starring role, as Lorrell Robinson on the show Dreamgirls (2007) that was nominated for an Academy Award. And she plays LaVerne jukebox Ganner on the show Starz's Power. In addition to her acting skills, she's known for the roles she played in the theater.
