Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also head of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely acclaimed as a pioneer in the field of child witnesses and eyewitness memories in the legal setting. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer who has received numerous prizes and grants. She consults with numerous countries and agencies around the globe regarding policy as well as the study of child victimization in the court system. She currently serves as consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center at Sacramento County Child Protective Services (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center). She has memberships with numerous professional groups, such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
